Merzouga Desert Tour with 4×4 From Marrakech
Jour 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Vallée des roses – Gorges de la vallée du Dadès
The Begin of Merzouga Desert Tour with 4×4for 03 days departing from Marrakech at 08:00, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel / riad in Marrakech, then direction towards the Dades gorges through the High Atlas mountains, and the passage of Tizi – N-Tichka (2260m), a few stops on the way to visit Berber villages and take some photos.
In the middle of the day, arrival at the old Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, enjoy free time to visit the Kasbah which has been elected a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987 for its true southern Moroccan architecture there or several films were shot like Babel, Gladiator, ect …
After a visit and free lunch, continue your journey to the Dades Valley, but before that a short break will be scheduled at the Taourirt Kasbah.
Then we will continue south to the green valley of Dades and the city of roses through the fascinating palm grove of Skoura. In the evening arrival at the Dades valley, dinner and overnight in a hotel / Riad.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, Our tour continues with a visit to the gorges of Dades, Tinghir, The gorges of Todra to reach the village of Tinjdad where a Stop will be scheduled for a free lunch. then we will pass by Erfoud the Moroccan capital of fossils.
We will arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon 4:00 p.m. a short break to rest and prepare your things to take with you for the night. before leaving for the desert, the camels will be packed with water, food, blankets and all that will be useful to us to stay in the desert in the Nomadic way.
When you arrive at the camp you will leave your luggage in the tent and you will be able to walk in the dunes to admire the magnificent sunset and try the sandboard in the dunes.
After watching the sunset, you will return to the camp, we will invite you for a cup of tea (Moroccan Berber Whiskey)! Then you will have your dinner in the camp.
After dinner, the party will begin. Listening to the local nomadic Berber musicians playing traditional music with drums and dancing around the campfire, after the party is the opportunity to admire the magic of stars and take beautiful photos.
Day 3: Camel ride back to Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early in the morning to witness the sunrise from the dunes, then return to the hotel after breakfast. Our day begins with the passage of Tafilalet passing through Rissani and Ouarzazate. Free time will be scheduled for a free lunch before continuing to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon
