Ourika Marrakech Excursion
Ourika Marrakech excursion Green valley located at the foot of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, which rises to 4160 m above sea level and on the edge of the Oued Ourika, it is about sixty kilometers from Marrakech. Along the way there are picturesque Berber villages clinging to the side of the mountain. First stop at Aghmat (souk on Friday), a former caravan city which houses the Mausoleum of a prince-poet Al Motmed Ibn Abbad. Continuation to the village of tnine Ourika, its Berber souk is held on Mondays, with a stopover at the inhabitant. We will continue our ascent in altitude to arrive at Setti Fatma along the river and passing by Aghbalou where a stop is planned to discover the hydroelectric mill of the picturesque village. In summer, the freshness is a contrast with the heat of Marrakech and in winter, the panorama of the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas gives you a magical spectacle.
